Meet Meg, our Founder
A healthcare worker, a mom of two, and a Vancouver Island-raised foodie, Meg is the heart (and brains!) behind Wholesyum.
With kids, dogs, work, and everything in between, Meg found life to be beautifully full and a little hectic. Still, she wanted to figure out how she could make real, nutritious food, while supporting local farmers.
Wholesyum was born, her way of saving precious time at home while investing in the community that makes it such a wonderful place to live.
From pantry and freezer staples and simple guides, to collaborations with local makers, everything Wholesyum offers is created and sourced with this approach.

FAQs
No, though we would all be healthier if we fed ourselves how we feed our babies! Wholesyum is for everyone, some of our most dedicated customers are retirees and busy professionals trying to sneak more fruit, veg and flavor into their diets.
Sort of / sometimes, though not certified organic at this time. We are committed to sourcing local and rescued ingredients, many of which are grown using organic methods.

We offer Canada-wide shipping for our dry goods.
We offer delivery across southern Vancouver Island for our frozen goods.

Our seasonal purees are made in a VIHA certified commercial kitchen.
Our Beetroot Gluten free pancake mix is made at a co-packing facility on Vancouver Island.
Our beeswax wraps are made at naturebee on Vancouver Island.
Due to the perishable nature of our products, returns are not accepted.

Dry Mix: Our gluten-free pancake mix is tested twice: first at the supplier's facility, again at our co-packer to ensure all results fall under 20 ppm. We are not certified by a third party at this time.
Purées: While we take every possible measure to minimize the risk of cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that our seasonal purees have not come into contact with the top allergens, due to the shared nature of our commissary kitchen space.
